Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Expert - Electrical to join our team in Gqeberha, South Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance and support for our electrical systems and projects.

Design and develop electrical systems and controls for industrial applicationsAnalyze complex electrical engineering problems and provide innovative solutionsEnsure compliance with electrical codes and safety standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize electrical system performanceConduct technical reviews and provide expert advice on electrical engineering projectsDevelop and maintain technical documentation for electrical systems and processesTroubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely mannerStay up-to-date with the latest electrical technologies and industry trendsMentor and guide junior electrical engineers and techniciansParticipate in project planning and execution to ensure electrical system requirements are met

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineering (PE) license preferredProficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical and EPLANIn-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standardsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and control systemsExpertise in automation technologiesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsWillingness to travel to project sites as needed
