Technical Documentation Teamleader
As our Technical Documentation Team leader you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and comprehensive documentation for Measurement Solutions manufactured products. We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys collaboration with multiple international individuals. You will gather information and transform it into clear and concise written materials. Along with the technical writing support, you will provide initial leadership, guidance, and technical support associated with project needs. Responsibilities include supporting writing needs, assigning projects to all technical documentation team members, resolving customer issues with documentation, and managing the Corrective Action system. Other responsibilities include working closely with personnel from a variety of locations throughout the organization. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Develop and edit a variety of technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, safety manuals, product data sheets and other assorted technical documents that will support our products. + Manage collaboration with cross-functional teams to assign projects, ensure accuracy of our documents, and confirm processes are followed correctly. + Organize complex technical concepts and create clear, concise, and easily understandable written materials focused on the target audience. + Review, edit and lead peer reviews of all technical content. + Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in technical writing, and apply them to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our documentation. + Manage project priorities to direct team in technical documentation needs. Assign and direct work for global teams. + Complete reviews or provide input on reviews for team. **Who You Are:** We believe that you are a people person with strong technical understanding and a creative mind. As a team leader you put the team first but don’t hesitate to jump in wherever needed. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Bachelor’s degree in communications, technical writing, business, or related. + Six years technical background experience preferred. + Strong knowledge of technical writing principles, best practices and standards. + Proficiency in using authoring tools (preferably DITA) and using Component Content Management Systems (CCMS). + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail. + Ability to comprehend complex technical information and transform it into clear and concise documentation. + Experience working with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy. + Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines. **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Experience with task-based authoring in XML using DITA and a Component Content Management System **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION** This position is based in the Mölnlycke office.
