Grow here** **Job Description** As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence, innovation, and strategic growth across our organization. Responsibilities will include: + Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- to large-scale projects. + Establishes and maintains technical client relationships, contributing significantly to business development. + Drives the development and enhancement of technical skills within the department. + Engages in technical business development activities. + Delivers specialized technical guidance in studies and designs based on expertise. + Reviews, approves, and signs off on project work. + Serves as a leader in one or more technological areas. + Develops engineering budgets and schedules to meet the requirements of large, complex projects. + Provide technical leadership and oversight for all projects and initiatives within the organization + Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives + Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, or a related technical field + 10+ years of experience in an engineering and / or technical leadership role within the industry + Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technical projects and initiatives + Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies relevant to our business + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making + Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences + Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and strategic planning + Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams + Strong project management skills and experience with various project management methodologies + Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities + Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and innovative mindset **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
