Technical Director - Loss Adjusting

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Technical Director to join our team, specializing in handling major and complex claims across property, engineering, and construction sectors. This role is pivotal in maintaining strong relationships with local market insurers and reinsurers, while ensuring technical excellence in claims management and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a challenging caseload of major and complex losses, including:

Property Damage

Contractor All Risks (CAR)

Erection All Risks (EAR)

Comprehensive Machinery and Electrical Equipment Insurance

Marine and Liability Insurance

Act as a key liaison with local insurers and reinsurers, ensuring effective communication and resolution of claims.

Supervise and mentor local adjusters, ensuring high technical standards and compliance with industry best practices.

Interpret and apply insurance policies and regulations accurately in the assessment and adjustment of claims.

Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for settlement, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

10 years of hands-on experience in the loss adjusting industry.

Proven expertise in managing major and complex claims across multiple insurance lines.

Professional qualifications: ACII, A/FCILA (or equivalent).

Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage, and regulatory frameworks.

Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English, both written and verbal.
