Within the Technical Development group, the AP/Deo and Skincare team is specialized in testing and optimizing the performance of fragrances in AP/Deo and Skincare products. This includes fragrance ingredient analysis to solve stability issues and to maximize. In collaboration with our Science and Research group, we develop new fragrance innovations as well as AI supported performance models.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Be a key actor in the development of new perfume innovations, in collaboration with Science & Research and the Beauty team.Test perfumery raw materials and final fragrances in AP/Deo and Skincare products for stability and performance. Mine data to identify mechanisms of action and guidelines to guide Perfumers and Fragrance Development Managers to optimize their fragrances.Study the composition of market products and their influence on fragrance and technologies performance.Lead technical trouble shooting, in a timely manner.Develop analytical methods to measure fragrance deposition and release.Improve internal hair care product formulations to be updated with the latest market trends.

You Bring:

University degree in Chemistry with min. 2 years.Professional experience in the field of technical Perfumery, perfume technologies or cosmetic product development highly preferred.Computer literate (MS Office), proficient with Python and design of experiment is a plus.Good knowledge of formulation physical-chemistry and analytical chemistry, in particular GC-MS & LC-MS.Excellent analytical thinking and presentation skills are required.Scientific curiosity, ability to learn new fields and share with others.Team spirit, creative thinking, independence, open mind, initiative and good communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent in English and French, written and spoken.
