Technical & Design Engineer

About the Role:
 
You will work closely with customers and our in-house team to design and engineer high-quality tankers. From creating 2D drawings to ensuring compliance with road regulations, you’ll be an integral part of delivering projects from concept to completion.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with customers to understand requirements and project goalsProduce bills of materials and detailed 2D engineering drawings (AutoCAD)Interpret and work with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematicsPerform calculations for forces, moments, volumes, and weightsAdvise colleagues on design and build requirementsApply knowledge of steel and aluminium material propertiesEnsure compliance with road safety regulations and dangerous goods requirementsSolve technical challenges efficiently and effectively 
What We’re Looking For:
3–4 years’ proven experience in a relevant industryProficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD 2D, Microsoft Excel, and WordStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical systemsExcellent organisational and communication skillsA proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independentlyStrong problem-solving mindset and attention to detailWillingness to mentor apprentices and share knowledge
