Technical Delivery Manager (Data and Insights)
**Role:Technical Delivery Manager (Data and Insights)** **Location:Bellevue, WA** **Onsite- Hybrid (no remote hiring)** Technical Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of Data and Insights solutions for Microsoft. Responsible for driving excellence in Data Engineering, Semantic Model Development, and Azure-based platform engineering (including Microsoft Fabric). Act as consulting partner and trusted advisor, going beyond coordination to provide thought leadership, anticipate challenges, and drive proactive, scalable solutions. Success in this role requires balancing technical depth, delivery rigor, and stakeholder engagement to deliver year-over-year (YOY) efficiencies while enabling reinvestment into innovation. **Responsibilities:** + Drive delivery of data engineering and semantic model solutions on Azure andFabric platforms with minimal oversight. + Provide consulting-style engagement, proactively advising stakeholders on bestpractices, roadmaps, and platform engineering improvements. + Anticipate risks, surface issues early, and develop structured mitigation plans + Act as the primary interface between Microsoft stakeholders and supplier teamsacross geographies. + Translate complex technical requirements into actionable business outcomes andensure clarity across business, engineering, and leadership. + Foster trust-based relationships by consistently aligning delivery outcomeswith business priorities. + Lead and mentor global teams across U.S. and India + Instill accountability, ownership, and autonomy within delivery teams-reducingdependence on individuals (e.g., advisors like Vinny) for tactical direction. + Ensure delivery rigor by setting clear expectations, prioritization frameworks,and measurable outcomes. + Drive operational efficiency and platform scalability in Azure Data and Fabricimplementations. + Establish repeatable accelerators, templates, and processes to reduce deliverycycles and improve predictability. + Deliver YOY efficiencies-measured not by cost-cutting alone but by strategicreinvestment in innovation and expansion areas. + Define program plans, manage releases, and align delivery with Agile bestpractices. + Own Epics, Features, and User Stories; maintain a well-groomed backlog andensure alignment with business requirements. + Partner with Microsoft Finance and cross-functional teams to deliver solutionsaligned to enterprise needs. **Qualifications/ Skills** + 10+ years intechnical delivery management in data engineering, BI/semantic modeling, andplatform engineering roles. + Proven experience leading onsite-offshore delivery models in large-scale,fast-paced enterprise environments. + Strong track record of delivering consulting-style outcomes: proactiveadvisory, thought leadership, and efficiency realization. + Hands-on familiarity with Azure Data Stack: Azure Data Factory, AzureDatabricks, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Event Hubs, Logic Apps, AzureDevOps. + Experience with Microsoft Fabric and semantic model development. + Proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of enterprise data architecture. + Ability to move teams from execution-only to consultative delivery models. + Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with minimal oversight. + Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. + Experience instilling a proactive mindset and reducing reliance on tacticalescalations. **Education:** - Bachelor-s or Master-s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. **Life atSogeti:** Sogeti supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
