We have an opportunity for an experienced Technical Service Specialist to join our team
This opportunity in a nutshell
The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, installation, programming, and maintenance of commercial laundry equipment, dishwashing machines, and other related systems. The role requires a hands-on expert with strong troubleshooting skills and a solid background in machine diagnostics, laundry and ware washing operations, and electrical systems.
This position requires a graduate of Electrical Engineering, electrical courses, or an equivalent technical background, with proven field experience.
How you’ll add value
Monitor and Maintain Equipment
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on laundry and dishwashing machines to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Diagnose and Troubleshoot Issues
Identify mechanical, electrical, and control-related faults, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to restore equipment functionality.
Perform Testing and Reporting
Execute functional and validation tests post-installation or repair, and document findings through detailed technical service reports.
Enhance System Efficiency
Recommend and implement upgrades, configuration changes, or programming adjustments to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Repair and Replace Components
Perform technical repairs or arrange timely replacement of faulty parts in coordination with the supply team to reduce operational downtime.
Communicate Technical Solutions
Explain issues, solutions, and best practices to clients in clear, non-technical language to support optimal equipment use and performance.
Customize Machine Programs
Set up and tailor wash and rinse programs based on specific customer needs, such as fabric types or cleaning profiles, and provide usage guidance.
What you need to be successful
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, any electrical courses, or equivalent technical background.
At least 5 years of experience in installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of commercial laundry and dishwashing equipment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machine programming, technical diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
