The TCS Manager is responsible for leading and developing a team of 40+ roles who oversee admin and planning customer service across multiple European countries. This role ensures operational excellence, drives continuous improvement, and aligns service delivery with business goals. The manager acts as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, fosters a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration, and ensures governance, compliance, and budgetary control across the GBS.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and mentor the reporting Team Leaders, fostering a high-performance culture and improvement mind-set.Provide strategic direction, performance feedback, and career development support.Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, documentation, and cross-functional teamwork.Ownership of related projects for the GBSEnsure service levels, KPIs, and quality standards are implemented, are consistently met or exceeded.Monitor workload distribution and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.Oversee the execution of administrative and planning services across European markets.Translate business objectives into operational plans and initiatives.Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.Align GBS operations with broader organizational goals and customer expectations.Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders across business units and countries.Build strong relationships with internal partners (Sales, Technicians, Finance, HR, IT) to support seamless service delivery.Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of complex issues.Establish and maintain governance frameworks, SOPs, and internal controls.Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.Own and manage the SSC TCS budget, including headcount planning and cost control.Monitor financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.Champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.Analyse performance data and implement corrective actions where needed.Lead change management initiatives and foster a culture of innovation.Qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.8+ years of experience in shared services, customer service, or operations management.3+ years in a senior leadership role managing people leaders.Proven history in stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and budget ownership.Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.Excellent communication and people skills.Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in CRM tools / SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.Benefits
