Technical CMF Designer
**Your role:** · Supporting product design developments as well as industrialization. · Drive sustainable CMF innovations, leverage the latest manufacturing technologies, and ensure the highest quality standards. · Team up with the engineering team to select the right supplier material to ensure the quality standards. · In charge of the local color library, including coordinating color quality measurements and reporting. · Ensuring CMF physical standards accessibility and align supplier reference and development requests. · Leading complex CMF projects that influence and update our CMF guidelines. · Working E2E to create solutions for ecosystems, ensuring interdependencies and integration. · Drive development and maintain the global CMF palette and support the catalog creation. · Advocate and advise on the color, material, and finishing scenarios and solutions for the business design teams. · Able to train CMF methodologies and processes that guide stakeholders and suppliers. · Communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment on CMF project developments **You are:** · A skilled technical CMF designer with 5-10+ years of experience in CMF design for consumer lifestyle · and/or medical products with a bachelor’s or master's degree in industrial design or an equivalent degree in Engineering Design. · Demonstrate leadership and strategic thinking. · Passion for CMF and the development side of the profession. · Strong aesthetic skills, with an eye for trends, colors, and consumer insights, and how to connect when applying to hardware. · Practical and pragmatic mindset, that both listens to input, yet is able to make decisions to move things forward in the right way. · Negotiation skills with extensive experience working with suppliers and manufacturing. · Intuitive and good at listening to stakeholders’ input. · Great soft skills and teaming up mindset. · Strong presentation skills. · Act quickly and follow up on requests swiftly. · Strong communication skills in English, with a CET-6 English level. · Mandarin language is a must to communicate with local suppliers and build long-term relationships. · Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and familiar with Keyshot. · Deep understanding of local suppliers’ capabilities and collaborations. · You have strong knowledge of sustainability, technology, color, and material trends with specialism in resin, metal, finishing, and textures. **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 4 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
