Our client is a multinational company, a market leader in the distribution of chemicals, looking for a Technical Business Development Manager.

With over 35 years of industry experience, they specialize in B2B distribution of industrial and specialty chemicals. Their commitment to excellence and innovation allows them to meet diverse customer needs and maintain their position as a trusted partner in the sector.

Responsibilities:

Manage and grow the existing customer portfolio, focusing on water treatment operators throughout Romania.

Identify new market opportunities and establish new commercial partnerships.

Build long-term, strategic relationships by offering technical support and guidance to customers.

Negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives.

Take full ownership of product management and sales responsibilities associated with the role.

Monitor market trends and adapt business development strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is a strong plus.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B sales.

Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Solid knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.

Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the country.

Results-driven mindset with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable business plans.

Relevant experience in sales of raw materials for wastewater and drinking water treatment plants, along with an existing network in this market, will be considered a significant advantage.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster and maintain strong client relationships.

Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
