Treaty - Technical Broker Interested in applying your existing reinsurance knowledge while being provided with the chance to learn, grow and stretch yourself professionally? What the day will look like As part of the Treaty Team, you will support the team with technical broking and administrative support to facilitate the placement of our Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Clients’ treaty programmes. Key responsibilities will include: + Responsible for the day-to-day account management of Aon’s relationships with assigned clients + Assist with preparation and delivery of reinsurance submissions, proposals and placement documentation + Co-ordinate with clients to prepare necessary underwriting information + Prepare and process reinsurance contracts, slips, endorsements in accordance with regulatory and market standards. + Enhance the client experience through outstanding customer service + Actively b uild and develop relationships with clients and reinsurance markets + Participate in projects to streamline reinsurance workflows, improve service delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives How this opportunity is different Work with a team of authentic and inquisitive individuals focused on providing exceptional value to our clients and our local communities. Skills and experience that will lead to success This position requires a driven and experienced self-starter with strong customer service skills. Additionally, you will have the following: + Prior working experience in Insurance or (preferably) Reinsurance sector (Broking, Underwriting, Administration) + Understanding of Treaty reinsurance principles, markets and the placement process + Strong proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office suite of products (particularly Excel and Powerpoint) with the ability to learn and use multiple software and system-based applications + Strong relationship skills: ability to manage external/internal relationships and senior stakeholders + Ability to co-ordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities effectively + Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, for establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships + Strong attention to detail, displaying a high level of accuracy and diligence in preparing, reviewing and managing client documentation + Proven ability to manage multiple accounts or placements simultaneously under tight deadlines + Strong team collaboration with a proven ability to work closely with internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment + A desire to grow and further develop How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
