Job Description Insight Global client is looking for a Technical Artist to join the avatars team. This team creates and maintains the system that powers our avatars used across our family of apps, including all of our Metaverse initiatives in VR/AR. As a Technical Artist working on assets for the Metaverse, you will have the opportunity to work closely with designers, engineers, and other technical artists to help bring characters to life. Characters who are part of our apps that are used by billions of users around the world. Responsibilities:  - Ingest and maintain art content for Avatars and Horizon. For example ingest meshes, textures, and rigs into unity for Horizon.  - Leverage internal tools and workflows to maintain and ingest art content into Metas family of Apps.  - Leverage a generalist skillset to solve multifaceted art content issues. For example model, textures, rigging, game systems  - Maintain and extend various unity systems such as Mecanim graphs  - Partner closely with art, engineering, and other teams to develop content in modern real-time environments  - Quickly innovate and solve issues with other technical artists and art teams  - Ability to collaborate and iterate based on the team's evolving needs We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements - Experience in game development, real-time rendering, or the tech industry  - Experience in character rigging technologies  - Familiarity with textures and materials  - Familiarity with DCC tools such as Maya  - Familiarity with game development engines such as Unity, Unreal  - Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams  - Experience with real time asset implementation and optimization techniques  - Experience communicating across team members including engineers, artists and production staff - Experience with Scripting such as Typescript, Python, C# (in that order) - Experience working in art pipelines designed for high volume of content - Experience building art content for real time performance - Experience with animation system - Familiarity with Metas Avatar SDK and/or Products. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
