Technical Architect

Role Description

As a Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our technology strategy. Your responsibilities will include designing and overseeing the implementation of complex systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, guiding the development process from conception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

System Design: Develop high-level system architectures, ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability, and flexibility.Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend suitable technologies, frameworks, and tools for projects based on their requirements and FNZ's strategic objectives.Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle.Code Review: Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards, coding best practices, and overall system performance.Risk Mitigation: Identify and address technical challenges, mitigating risks associated with system architecture, and proactively proposing solutions.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural decisions, design patterns, and system components.Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in FNZ's technology landscape.

Experience required

Successful candidates are likely to have the following skills and experience:

Proven experience as a Technical Architect or a similar role in a technology-driven environment.Expertise in designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure systems.Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with a strong foundation in software engineering principles.Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools
