Technical and Testers Control Student
**Technical and Testers Control Student** **Position Summary:** As a student in the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will support productivity and process improvement initiatives cross departments, with a focus on tester systems and electronics. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic anufacturing environment, contributing to data analysis, documentation, and technical support activities while learning about cross-functional collaboration in a global medical company. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in developing and maintaining data management systems for tracking and analyzing tester performance, both locally and at supplier sites. * Support the evaluation of tester functionality and efficiency, ensuring proper operation and quality coverage of Devices Under Test (DUT). * Contribute to hardware and software improvements for testers under guidance from senior engineers. * Help document tester configurations and updates in SAP ERP, and Windchill PLM, ensuring alignment with company standards. * Participate in compliance activities related to FDA and ISO regulations by supporting documentation and process reviews. * Assist in continuous improvement efforts, including data collection, statistical analysis, and implementation of solutions. * Maintain and update asset lists for supplier equipment, including identification, usage tracking, and technical support records. * Support electronic-related activities such as basic troubleshooting, wiring, sensor integration, and PCB-level work under supervision. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams on productivity projects, contributing to documentation, enrichment processes, and technical reporting. **Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:** * B.Sc./M.Sc. student in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering. * At least 1.5 years (3 semesters) remaining before graduation. * Availability of working at least 20 hours per week (excluding Fridays). * Strong interest in manufacturing processes and electronic systems. * Independent, proactive, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Fluent in English – verbal and written. * Eager to be a part of a big global medical company * Knowledge of data management and analysis tools, including statistical process control (SPC) -Advantage * Experience in a manufacturing environment and operations -Advantage * Experience with medical device manufacturing and regulatory requirements- Advantage **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
