Technical and Marketing Lead, Pets

**The Position**
The Technical and Marketing Lead is responsible for leading the technical and marketing team of the Pets business segment in achieving its objectives, in alignment with global and ROPU strategies.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the team to ensure short- and long-term objectives for the business segment are achieved with the collaboration from other functions.
+ Ensure marketing plans and campaigns are executed in alignment with strategies, compliance, business needs, commercial excellence programs, tools and processes, etc.
+ Ensure technical activities are aligned with strategies, compliance, business needs, commercial excellence programs, tools and processes, etc.
+ Ensure implementation of species technical and marketing strategies and plans in close collaboration with different stakeholders.
+ Define and clarify roles, goals, and expectations of the team.
+ Ensure ambitious and achievable business goals are set and owned by individuals
+ Address non-performance
+ Demonstrate and support Boehringer behaviors and compliance policies
+ Practice and support BI values
+ Talent Management:
+ Lead, coach and develop team members to ensure optimal individual/team performance.
+ Communication & Network:
+ Maintain interaction with key customers, business and government relationships within the OPU to the mutual benefit of the business and local community.
+ Responsible for an efficient information transfer and communication with relevant internal stakeholders of the corporation, relevant to the team.
+ Responsible for maximizing impact of all available resources in line with technical and marketing strategies
+ Maintain close collaboration with different stakeholders
+ Compliance & Policies:
+ Comply with local regulations, industry and company Code of Conduct
+ Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals and follow company Code of Conduct
+ Take necessary action on issues of compliance
+ Be a role model in compliance with local regulations, industry and company code of conduct and maintain integrity

**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine, Life Sciences and or Business Management. Preferably with an MBA.
+ Leadership Experience for more than 4 years in an animal health or FMCG industry setting
+ Strong written & verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to develop stakeholder relationships.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate medium/large and diverse groups of professionals
+ Demonstrated solid decision making and negotiation skills
+ Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative, creativity and proven track record for innovation
+ Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate and deliver results in a highly matrix organization.
