Use support tools to navigate through logs in problem analysis and adhering to standards and procedures for technical and change implementation of scheduling support. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, potential risks, and increased efficiencies as part of Batch Optimization. Ability to work in cross functional and multi-location teams. **Responsibilities:** + Analysis and support of batch application testing of Mid-Range (Datastage & Autosys, Hadoop) batch components in integrated and independent test environments. + Understand functionalities of change and problem requests. + Analyze the batch issues and provide the resolutions for midrange applications. + Analysis of impact in the existing system and estimation. + Work with multi-platform batch application teams to optimize testing capabilities and production deployments. + Analyze, develop batch components for midrange using IIS Datastage - Datastage, Autosys, PySpark, Hadoop, UNIX Shell Scripting + Optimize the multi-platform batch applications (midrange and mainframe) using testing capabilities. + Support test batch execution for midrange and mainframe applications as part of integrated and independent releases. + Understand functionalities of change and problem requests & batch optimization based on the system understanding. + Write UNIX shell scripting, for various functions such as maintenance, backup, and server health checks. + Perform application support activities using Endevor & Subversion (SVN). + Co-ordinate with required stakeholders (Release Management, Data Management and Configuration Management) to support the project. **Requirements*:** + **Education** * B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M.
