Job Duties:

Deliver solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues. Serve as an expert member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team, routinely sought after to address extremely complex, critical customer issues. May telecommute. (385.24563)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Technical Analyst-Support-related occupation.

Position requires:

Administrating Oracle database servers, and performing database upgrades and migrations; UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms; Implementing Oracle backup and recovery procedures using RMAN and Flashback; Oracle Dataguard and DR (Disaster Recovery); PL/SQL and SQL; Working in a production support environment, assisting in database technical issues, and being on call; Oracle ASM/RAC; Oracle Enterprise Manager; Perl or Python
