Job summary – What to expect:
As the Technical Administrator in our Manufacturing and Engineering workshop team. You will be expected to provide Technical Support and oversight of the Insert Manufacture and Workshop teams to deliver and efficient and effective service to business units and project teams. As well as:
Work Environment:
The insert manufacture areas are clean, temperature controlled, environments. The engineering workshop is a more typical engineering environment. The job holder will be predominantly office based, although the role will involve spending time in both workshops areas where appropriate PPE must be worn. There is low level noise in some of the working areas from machinery, but this does not require ear protection to be worn. The job manages the activity of a team working Mon-Fri on two shifts. Nominally a day-work role but flexibility essential to manage early and late shift.Travel Requirements:
Travel between sites will be required, therefore a drivers licence is needed.About you:
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience/Education
Knowledge of contact lens mould tooling and/or inserts Manufacturing engineering discipline desirable. Math’s and English to NVQ Level 2What we offer:
