The Opportunity
Manage technical administrative personnel who monitor and document ship repair and overhaul availabilities.Your team will use the Military Sealift Commands Shipboard Automated Maintenance Module (SAMM) to plan, research, execute, and enter the maintenance records across the ashore and afloat enterprise.As the manager you will onboard, train, and oversee the Technical Administrative Assistant’s program and coordinate travel both CONUS and OCONUS.Assign and track funding and tasking from the customer.Responsibilities
Manage and maintain a schedule of deployed employees all over the world.Manage the day-to-day execution of activities of up to 40 personnel.Support the management team with the identification of continuous improvement opportunities and project execution efficiencies.Support cost management with the program finance team to manage project costsBe proficient in travel and adhere to the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)Direct and review the work of project team members.Perform personnel assessment in conjunction with senior project managerQualifications
Must have a secret clearanceBA/BS with 5 years of professional management experience or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.1 year support the Department of DefenseExcellent communication and organizational skillsSkilled at working collaboratively in a complex operations environment and driving performance achievement and improvements.Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks independently.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
