Job Description:
The Technical Accounting Manager is responsible for researching, interpreting and applying complex accounting standards and regulations. This role involves interpreting complex financial data, developing accounting policies, and providing guidance on technical accounting issues to internal stakeholders. By staying informed on industry developments and regulatory changes, the Technical Accounting Manager helps the organization maintain transparency and integrity in its financial operations. This role will have 1 senior accountant reporting to them.
What You'll Be Doing:
Perform technical research and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions.Updating the equity awards process from, documenting the award and its accounting implications all the way to how those awards are presented in the financials.Implement process efficiencies and automationLiaise with auditorsLead projects working closely with cross-functional teamsReview and approve journal entries, reconciliations and financial transactionsWhat We Are Looking For:
6+ years accounting experienceBachelor’s degree in accounting or financeExperience working for public companies and/or in fast paced environmentsPrior people management experienceThe Skills That Will Help You Succeed Even More:
Experience with Oracle Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelCPAAuditing or financial reporting experienceStrong analytical skills, detail-oriented and ability to multi-taskAbility to adapt to ever-changing environmentPrior experience with stock-based comp, debt, hedge, lease accountingWork Arrangement:
Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from home.
