Our clients are often well-known brands and many have broad international reach. Our projects range from technical accounting advise on complex accounting transactions, new standard adoption, preparation of accounting papers, review of complex consolidation and related accounting application.

As a Manager in our Technical Accounting team, you will take on a leadership role in advising engagement teams as well as clients on complex accounting matters. You will manage and oversee a portfolio of clients, assisting them with IFRS implementation, reporting, and the application of accounting standards in the context of both deals and non-deals scenarios. You will lead a team and play a key role in developing and executing strategies for solving complex accounting issues. Additionally, you will support business development initiatives and contribute to enhancing the firm's technical expertise. What your days will look like:

Lead the delivery of technical accounting advice to clients, focusing on IFRS implementation, complex accounting transactions, and the preparation of technical accounting papers.

Contribute to the design of solutions to structure key transactions to achieve the optimal outcome for our clients, with a focus on advising on complex accounting matters under both IFRS and GAPSME;

Oversee a portfolio of clients, managing the day-to-day relationship and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.

Provide leadership and coaching to junior team members, helping them develop their technical skills and knowledge.

Contribute to business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and expanding the firm’s footprint with existing clients.

Take an active role in the development and delivery of in-house training, workshops, and seminars for both clients and internal teams.

Drive the continuous development of your technical accounting expertise while keeping up with changes in accounting standards and business trends.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing effective solutions to their accounting challenges.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to solve complex technical issues and develop strategies to enhance the firm’s service offerings.

The role is for you if you possess:

At least 5 years of experience in an audit, client accounting, or technical accounting role.

A Master’s degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification (or equivalent) with a deep understanding and/or keen interest in technical accounting and financial reporting.

Strong technical expertise in accounting standards and financial reporting.

Proven experience in managing client relationships and leading teams.

Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and build long-term client relationships.

Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Intellectual curiosity with a willingness to challenge yourself and learn new skills, including working in unfamiliar industries/environments.
