This Technical Manager will be the Baker Hughes Service Engineering Lead for a customer site based Guyana on a monthly rotational basis. The primary responsibilities will be managing process and technologies, specifically gas turbine, centrifugal compressors, and steam turbines, and HV electrical equipment for customer projects.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
Supporting Guyana customer's installed base of gas turbines and compressors including activities such as customer issue resolution, product bulletin implementation, monitoring and diagnostics, and fleet management.Conducting Outage Management: support customer outage planning and preparation and fast issue resolution during outage executionLeading the technical communication for technical investigations/ RCA, collaborate with global experts to optimize customer equipment Reliability and Availability, and manage critical KPIs.Presenting projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teamsCommunicating solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor degree in Engineering or 10+ yrs of professional experienceHave 5+yrs of experience with project or contract performance managementHave design engineering, repair development, and/or field service of rotary machines including gas turbinesHave impressive interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others and lead small teams and coordinate several projects simultaneouslyPossess effective problem identification and solution skills, as well as analytical and organizational abilityAble to work at a customer facility in Guyana on a rotational basisWork in a way that works for you
