Overview As a Building Management System (BMS) Application Specialist, you will be a key member in the virtualization and maintenance of enterprise BMS application systems. Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities and Activities Include but are Not Limited to: · Configure primary and secondary virtual servers. · Work with local service providers to migrate BMS controllers from local administration to the enterprise virtual environment. · Configure network and user access. · Configure and test alert distribution. · Commission the virtualized system and perform turnover to the operations team. · Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning. · Troubleshoot system alerts and initiate service tickets. · Develop playbooks to document daily functions and troubleshooting process. Qualifications Preferred Experience: · Experience programming and managing a BMS system is not required but is a major plus. · System experience operating any of the following BMS applications is a plus: o Tridium Niagara o Siemens Desigo CC o Schneider EcoStruxture o Alterton Compass o Sauter Vision Center · BMS application management experience with of the follow technologies is a plus: o Lighting Controls o Leakage Detection o Temperature Sensor o Compressed Air Pumps o Energy Power Meter o Indoor/ Outdoor Air Quality o Battery System Monitor o Building Shades o Solar Power Monitoring o SCADA o HVAC Communication Skills: · Strong oral, technical writing, and presentation skills · Ability to build productive relationships with team members, clients and other network/system stakeholders. Behavioral Skills: · Must be able to balance high quality standards with schedule pressures and a demanding environment. · Must be a resourceful self-starter, flexible, proactive, solution-oriented and customer-oriented. Work Schedule: · Required time in the office 3 days/week. Other days can be remote. · On-site requirements are subject to change and could increase at any time.
