Job TitleTech Lead IntegrationJob DescriptionAs the Area Integration within the Tribe Tech4Engineering, we are responsible for the Integration Journey within Rabobank and have four platforms: API Management, Event Streaming, File Transfer, and MQ. Additionally, we have a squad that focuses on bridges. The area consists of around 70 colleagues (8 squads).
Every day we take a step towards our vision that our platforms are the silent fabric of all data exchange between applications at Rabobank, enabling engineers to innovate without the complexity of managing the integration solutions themselves—because it just works, effortlessly and reliably.

Your jobAs a Tech Lead you are responsible for the delivery of Integration platform squads:
Guarding the integral IT approach and link to other IT projects within and outside the tribeLeading in technology in run (including vendor management), change and innovationManaging budgets and actuals and increasing the efficiency of software development and maintenanceAdhering to IT frameworks like security standards, life cycle management, and availability requirementsDrive engineering excellence through strategic hiring, coaching, and implementing best practices to continuously improve squad capabilities and productivityFoster cross-squad learning and maturity by establishing engineering practices, documenting success patterns, and facilitating knowledge exchange forums to elevate the overall integration engineering capabilities across teams.Champion a modern engineering culture focused on:Developer experience and self-service adoptionInfrastructure as code and automation-first mindsetOutcome-driven innovation in integration patternsBuilding reliable, scalable, and secure integration solutions

Your talentAs Tech Lead you have a high-tech savviness in the field of software engineering, integration, security, and performance. You are experienced in the scaled agile way of working, understand the risk & compliance needs of a bank, and possess a broad interest and opinion on IT trends. You are a self-starter who takes ownership and has intrinsic motivation. You are experienced in hiring the right people and work with leadership and squads directly to make a positive impact for our customers.
It is important that you have the following characteristics:
Academic working and thinking level;At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within complex IT environments;Accustomed and comfortable with a “span of control” of approximately 30-40 (offshore) employees;Knowledge of and experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile;You have achieved demonstrable results by guiding DevOps teams towards autonomy and a high level of performance (High Performance Engineering);Demonstrable affinity and passion for digitization and innovation;Mastery of the English language (business level, writing and speaking);You take on a pivotal role by weighing interests and risks together with the business;You keep your back straight in difficult discussions.Your additional competenciesAs a Tech Lead you know how varied and how challenging this role can be.
