Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with expertise in the Java tech stack to lead and drive technical solutions for our projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Cloud Technologies. Experience in support and production environments is an added advantage. Candidates with Cards, Payments, or Banking domain experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and design principles. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring security, performance, and scalability. Work on cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deploy microservices efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and QA teams. Oversee and contribute to code reviews, mentoring team members in best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance. Provide support and maintenance for production systems when required. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, applying them to enhance system architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

8 to 12 years of experience in Java development with a focus on enterprise applications. Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices. Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Good knowledge of database management systems (SQL/NoSQL). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with support and maintenance of enterprise applications is a plus. Strong understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the Cards, Payments, or Banking domain. Exposure to DevOps practices and logging/monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus). Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
