In this role, you will be responsible for technical leadership of the Data Engineering team, defining data processing systems architecture, and strategic platform development planning. Your task will also include team mentoring, ensuring high-quality delivered solutions, and close collaboration with Data Science and Product departments to achieve business goals.ResponsibilitiesLead the Data Engineering team, providing mentorship and developing team members’ competenciesDesign enterprise-scale data processing system architecturesDefine technical standards, best practices, and software development processesCollaborate with management in strategic planning and technical roadmap developmentOptimize performance and scalability of data processing systemsOversee data infrastructure security and stabilityBuild a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the teamActively collaborate with business stakeholders in defining requirements and prioritiesRequirementsMinimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, including 3+ years in leadership positionsAdvanced knowledge of Python and distributed systems architecturesDeep understanding of cloud technologies (AWS/GCP) and their best practicesExperience in designing and implementing real-time data processing systemsKnowledge of modern Big Data technologies (Spark, Kafka, etc.)Proven experience in leading complex technical projectsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to make technical decisions considering business aspectsExperience in building and developing technical teamsBonus point if you:Experience in the AdTech/MarTech industryKnowledge of Domain Driven Design and Event-Driven ArchitectureExperience in technological transformationsTechnical publications or conference presentationsKnowledge of agile methodologies and their practical applicationOur technologyPython and JavaScript as primary programming languagesAWS and GCP as cloud platformsModern Big Data technology stack (Spark, Kafka, Airflow)Kubernetes and Docker in production environmentCI/CD and DevOps practicesReq #1174
