**Summary of Role:**
+ As Fellow – Infrastructure Architecture, you will be a member of the RTX Enterprise Services Infrastructure Architecture team. You will be a cross-functional leader, mentor and technical expert across all of RTX, focused on infrastructure architecture practices and solutions. You will work to develop RTX architectural solutions and standards that meet RTX customer and business needs, supporting RTX Digital Technology architecture strategy and execution. You will mentor engineers and architects to ensure success from strategy and architecture, through implementation. You will also be actively engaged in Technical Fellows program activities and will support the overall Enterprise Services Digital Strategy in partnership with your peer Fellows.
We are currently seeking candidates with deep expertise in one or more of the following infrastructure sub-domains: 1) Identity Access Management 2) Automation - Infrastructure as Code 3) Enterprise Systems (ERP) or 4) Business Architecture
This role will focus on **Identity Access Management**

**What You Will Do:**
+ Be an RTX technology leader. Lead cross functional architecture efforts to deliver solutions for RTX customers and business needs. Partner closely across Application, Data, Infrastructure and Cyber Security domains.
+ Be the technical expert in identifying business problems that achieve strategic outcomes through application of infrastructure architecture, practices, assessments and models. Advocate for innovative and new platform capabilities and solutions.
+ Develop architectural artifacts, standards, and roadmaps. Ensure Enterprise Reference Architectures are leveraged across all of RTX.
+ Mentor engineers and architects to ensure successful implementation of strategy and architecture.
+ Continuously learn; Update architecture and standards based on shifts in business needs and technology innovation.
+ Lead technical proof of concepts/proof of value to validate architectural and technology decisions.
+ Consult with C-level executives, business/technology leaders, and engineers.
+ Support engagements with RTX Business Units, including developing technical solutions for current and future challenges.
+ Improve upon existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing and reasoning.
+ Provide consultation regarding long-range business planning concerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements within the discipline.
+ Consistently demonstrate RTX Fellows Pillars (technical excellence, leadership excellence, innovation and impact, mentorship and teaching).
+ Help build and develop the Digital Technology Fellow pipeline by providing guidance, coaching / mentoring, and training to other employees (including architecture skills development with mentees).
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
+ Minimum 12+ years of large-scale solution architecture or enterprise architecture experience
+ Minimum 12+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management systems and related technologies
+ If an existing Fellow (F1) applies for this position and is selected, the candidate will retain their Fellow status/classification.
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Subject matter expertise in Identity and Access Management – Extensive experience in IAM architecture, design, and implementation within a large-scale enterprise environment, with a deep understanding of IAM technologies, platforms, identity standards, and protocols in both cloud and on-prem environments
+ Advanced Infrastructure Architecture certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience
+ Enterprise Architecture certifications, Business Architecture certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience
+ Global Identity Management certifications, Infrastructure-as-Code and automation development practice certifications, SAP or equivalent ERP enterprise systems certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience.
+ Experience driving technology innovation in complex enterprise companies
+ Recognized as an expert within the external community

**Please Consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role:**
This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed
The salary range for this role is 160,000 USD - 322,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
