About the team
The finance department of Thales Nederland consists of 50 team members organized in 2 different competence centers (clusters):
Shared Services Accounting, Reporting & Controlling is responsible for accounting, reporting and controlling of departments and entities of Thales Nederland. The cluster is also responsible for internal control and subsidy control. For the Financial Control team, we are looking for a:

About your future job
As Teamleader Accounting you will be responsible for the accounting processes of Thales Nederland and operating in an international environment. You will be responsible for the accounting processes of multiple TNL sites.
Key tasks will be:
Responsible for general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and project administration processes within the cluster.Responsible for compliance of the general ledger with IFRS, Dutch GAAP and US DFAR regulations.Responsible for coordinating the balance sheet specifications.Responsible for (internal) improvements and change projects of accounting processes.Responsible for coordinating the accounting team (9 people). Including all related resource management activities.Key user AP process.Participate in internal and external audits.Sparring partner for Finance MT members.Within this position, there is a lot of possibility for your personnel development.
Why you'd be a good match
We are looking for a pro-active & hands-on candidate with passion for Finance who likes to work in an informal and international environment. You have a Master degree in Finance, at least 5 to 10 years of work experience and good English and Dutch communication skills. Experience in managing people and developing them is required (people manager). Knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP is also required. Experience and feeling with accounting processes, is a well-developed skill you have. You are curious by nature and question current processes. You can tackle subjects on your own but are also a team player and like to participate in and initiate improvement projects. Good communication skills are critical to your success in this role. Furthermore, you have a good knowledge of MS Office and affinity with IT/ERP systems (preferably Oracle).
