Lead controlling activities for the plant and support the strategic and operative planning of the plantExecute monthly closing and reporting according to standardsPrepare standard reports to plant and business management and review monthly results (e.g. P&L)Prepare budget and forecasts based on production volumesEnsure that the financial goals are met and implement and conduct activities according to the budget establishedSupport continuous improvement activities Interface to plant, segment, and BA functions in order to gather local controlling requirements and demands and other feedback Participate in and steer local controlling related projectsEnsure and apply Continental finance and accounting guidelines and ensure implementation and conformity with all Continental controlling systems, tools, standards and processes with high data quality and transparencyEnsure production, investment and personnel controlling according to standards (e.g. standard costs calculation, plant variation analysis, cost center controlling)Handling special tasks and ad-hoc analysesExecution of upcoming special projects (e.g., conversion of daily evaluations to PowerBI, restructuring of cost centers, harmonization of reporting, etc.)QualificationsUniversity degree, preferably in business administration, accounting, finance, controlling or related discipline (depending on plant size)Many years of professional experience in various finance and controlling functionsCross-functional experience e.g. in production, supply chain, quality or CBS preferredInitial experience in rubber and plastic production processesMany years in a leadership position, preferably in operational units with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individualsProficient in MS Office programs, especially ExcelSolid knowledge of SAP R/3 COFamiliarity with MS PowerBIFluent English and German language skills in written and spokenExperience in working with international teams on production topics and understanding of foreign culturesGood communications skillsApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
