Teaming Rep, Inside Sales

The Teaming Rep, Inside Sales works in partnership with a Field Sales colleague to manage targeted accounts with decentralized purchasing behaviors. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring customer retention, and executing account-level sales strategies through effective communication and collaboration. The position is quota-driven and focuses on increasing sales and purchasing compliance at the customer site level.

This role is a hybrid position that requires both in-office and remote work. The associate will be expected to work in-office as necessary. Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

Develop and execute customer contact strategies. Identify and cultivate relationships with site-level decision makers, influencers, and purchasing contacts. Enable purchasing capabilities for customer contacts.

Sales Pipeline & Growth

Identify sales opportunities and guide them through the sales process. Drive sales growth and expand line-of-business penetration at the customer site level.

Daily Sales Activities

Conduct daily phone calls and engage with decision makers, influencers, buyers, and end users. Apply sales methodologies to identify and advance pipeline opportunities. Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing timely responses and driving annual spend and purchasing compliance.

Account Management

Manage an annual revenue base of 4M-15M and achieve incremental year-over-year sales goals. Work toward defined sales quotas by maintaining and growing an assigned book of business. Expand purchasing beyond core products to meet buyer needs and support long-term customer retention.

Business Development

Understand customer business needs, market conditions, competition, and industry trends. Maintain relationships with existing customers to understand their organizational structure.

Sales Enhancement

Suggest related items and introduce new products/services to increase orders. Respond to product/service inquiries and seek opportunities to grow business potential across all product lines. Address inquiries regarding price, order placement, product benefits, differentiation, objections, and availability. Work to increase average order value, grow revenue, and develop long-term purchasing programs.

Collaboration & Communication

Partner with the Outside Sales team to enhance account development. Ensure communication with the appropriate contacts to drive sales growth.

Quality Assurance

Maintain and improve results by adhering to company standards and guidelines.   Job Requirements Education High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred field of study: Sales, Marketing, or Business. Experience 1-3 years of experience in a related field. Technical Skills Basic computer proficiency and ability to use technology for job-related tasks. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce.com, Oracle, AOPS, Gmillinnia, Cognos). Skills & Competencies Solid understanding of customer relationship management. Experience working with mid to senior-level customers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport and trust. Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities. Consistent support for efforts to improve the customer experience. Ability to develop and implement market strategies for business retention and acquisition. Team-oriented with initiative to achieve goals. Maintain accurate customer information in CRM systems. Results-driven, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Language Requirements Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Personal Attributes Provide regular updates and reports to management on account activities, sales forecasts, and client feedback. Demonstrate a questioning attitude and ability to deliver results. Handle objections professionally and calmly. Regular interaction with ISO Leadership, Human Resources, Sales Support, Training, and ISO Sales Management teams.
