About the role

As a Team support officer, you are responsible for coordinating the delivery of home maintenance and modification services to clients within the community.

In this role you have a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

Provide a high level of administrative support to the team and clients with a variety of administration and customer service-related functions in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.Assist with completing new client intakes, ensuring eligibility requirements are met, processing referrals from My Aged Care and a variety of other sources.Assisting clients with referrals to other services within WMQ and to external services.Assisting with accounts tasks such as raising client invoices, taking payments via eftpos, following up on overdue accounts and processing accounts payable invoices.Coordinate service delivery for clients in accordance with program guidelines, including processing maintenance requests, booking of contractors and rostering of field staff.Contribute towards the ongoing development of best practice, review and audit of practices and procedures in the Aged Care program.Provide a range of customer service-related functions including face to face, telephone and electronic communications to a diverse range of stakeholders.

About you

We are seeking applicants with the following:

Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support and customer experience with intermediate skills in the Microsoft office Suite of products and other in house software packages.Demonstrated commitment to the care of frail older people and younger people with a disability as well as an understanding of their social, physical and emotional support needs.Highly developed people and relationship skills, with the ability to participate as part of a team, sharing information and supporting others, contributing to a positive work environment and projecting a professional image.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a busy workloadCurrent ‘C’ class drivers’ licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.Demonstrated ability to utilise basic accounting techniques such as raising invoices, petty cash reconciliationAbility to prepare documents, reports and electronic presentations to a high standard.Well-developed interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on provision of quality customer service and the ability to positively interact (written and verbal) with staff at all levels.Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy.
