Team Restaurant Chef

The Team Members’ Restaurant \(Staff Canteen\) Chef is responsible for preparing and serving high\-quality, nutritious and well\-balanced meals for team members in the team members’ restaurant \(staff canteen\)\. This role ensures consistent food quality, hygiene and adherence to health and safety standards, while maintaining cost efficiency and minimizing food waste\.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Plans and prepares daily meals according to the menu
+ Ensures food presentation is appealing, consistent and meets quality standards
+ Maintains cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and food preparation areas in line with HACCP guidelines
+ Monitors food stock levels and assist with stock rotation, inventory, and ordering supplies
+ Maintains accurate records of food preparation, waste and equipment maintenance\.
+ Collaborates with the culinary team to innovate and improve meal offerings
+ Addresses feedback from team members and adjust meals accordingly when possible
+ Supports cost control by managing portions and minimizing wastage
+ Follows established schedules and assists in organizing meal service in a timely manner
**Requirements:**
+
Previous experience in high\-volume food production is an asset
+ Ability to manage a small team or work independently when required
+ Excellent time\-management and organizational skills
+ Flexibility to work early hours, weekends and public holidays as needed
+ A positive, team\-oriented attitude with a customer\-service mindset
+ Relevant certification in food preparation, including Food Handling License
