**Plant Engineering Team Manager**
**In this position...**
The Plant Engineering Team Manager is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and new installations within the Cleveland Engine Plant. The job is accomplished thru working with hourly (UAW / IBEW) Skilled Trades, Construction Commodity Manager (CCM), and Contracted Services. Funding for the work comes from maintenance budget and capital funding which requires managing budgets and writing appropriation requests. The Team Manager will be expected to work with local employees (represented and non-represented Ford personnel, as well as non-Ford personnel) and communicate with functional skill teams, Suppliers, FordLand, and the management team.
**What you'll do...**
+ Be a member of the Plant Operating Committee
+ Manage Central Maintenance, Industrial Garage, Environmental, and Plant Engineering teams.
+ Plan & manage maintenance projects
+ Plan, write, & manage capital projects, 5-year project planning.
+ Lead weekly UAW meetings, Labor clearance processing.
**You'll have...**
+ Bachelor of Science (BS) in electrical/mechanical engineering or construction management
+ 5+ years of experience as a facility engineer or construction project manager.
+ 5+ years of experience leading professional engineers and leading skilled trades.
+ Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
+ Solid organizational skills, including proven ability to multitask.
+ Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills.
+ Solid verbal and written communication skills
+ Servant Leadership principles
