What is the Opportunity?
As a member of HR Advice Canada, you will lead a high performing team providing HR support to RBC Employees and Pensioners. As the Team Manager of HR Advice, you will work onsite at one of our HR Advice Hubs to provide leadership and coaching to your team. You will work collaboratively with the HR Advice Leadership team and our Enablement team to ensure your team has the support, tools and training they require to be successful in their roles.
What will you do?
Lead your team in establishing employee goals and objectives that align with the overall HR Talent Services direction.
Communicate, implement and support activities to maintain employee engagement and enhance the employee experience.
Act as a Change Champion as you will be responsible for leading/implementing change initiatives. You will ensure teams understand reasoning behind changes and enable practices to support business objectives while maximizing employee experiences.
Coach team members to use active listening to understand, define and resolve employees immediate concerns.
Foster an environment of learning and development of HR practices that include Pensions, Benefits, Payroll, Workday and Workplace Policies.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
Leadership and people management experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Passion for HR.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves:
Contact/Call center experience.
French Language.
Strong HR knowledge through experience and/or education.
This role will be a 12:00 to 20:00 eastern shift arrangement.
Candidate must be commutable to one of our hubs in Vancouver, Montreal or Mississauga.
This role requires a 4 day on site work arrangement.
