Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

CUSTOMER

Direct accountability for leading and managing Business Operations Practices to support delivery of BAU processes for 3 or more applicationsRepresent business as their Operational Excellence ChampionOwns the deployment and change management for initiatives / projects spanning across all project tiersResponsible for providing support to projects in developing operating practices to support delivery and integration of Marketing Technology projects into Operational ProcessesOwns and maintains 3-year roadmap to establish vision, clarity, and alignment with the strategic and tactical direction of the businessOversees financial planning and management process as part of Operations budget and Marketing Technology budgetsProvides oversight for the forecasting and management of Operation budgets across multiple applications with Finance standardsAccountable for documentation management for Business Operations and Project artifacts (i.e. Operations Manuals, BRD, SRS, Test Plans, etc)

SHAREHOLDER

Owns overall accountability for managing operational risk and controlsAccountable for executive and management communications as it pertains to the Business OperationsEnsure adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements under Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and the Office of the Chief Data OfficerEstablish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program, project managersManage / oversee the in-take of new projects and ensure Business Systems Analyst resources are effectively allocated amongst the project portfolioCommunicate and negotiate timelines, budget, staffing, scope and critical milestones with project managers and key stakeholdersEnsure the team maintains compliance and procedure guidelines to support satisfactory audit results

EMPLOYEE / TEAM

Lead the Oracle CRR Support Team within the FCRM TOS teamProvide L1 Support and act as Business Administrator for Oracle CRR application (Customer Risk Rating), raise incidents and defects as needed, liaise with application users and L2 teams to resolve application issues.Act as subject matter expert on the CRR capability and support users in all aspects of the application.Provides advanced analysis and/or specialized reporting to support business partners, functional areas, or centers of expertise.Execute on more complex and/or non-standard requests such as audits and regulatory exams.Provide guidance and lead team in incident management while considering business risks and impacts. Flexible and resilience to execute in a high impact/fast paced environmentResponsible for management of the overall team providing both leadership and guidanceSet targets and objectives for the team, and deliver resultsGrow team expertise to align with business/enterprise demand and direction; assess team skills and capabilities and continually look for ways to provide and enhance the value deliveredLead a high performing team; provide on-going feedback and performance reviews, coach and develop employees and ensure performance management activities are undertaken and completed for all employeesLead the process of setting performance objectives for the team; track, monitor and effectively address and/or reward performance in a timely mannerManage employees in compliance with all human resources policies, procedures and guidelines of conductShare knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise among the team and ensure the timely communication of issues and encourage good working relationships with other functions and teamsSupport an environment where team freely escalates business challenges; facilitate change through positive reinforcement of milestones and successesRecruit for all hires to ensure a highly diverse, qualified workforce to achieve business objectivesEstablish and foster a cohesive team; promote a fair and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce and encourage the team to achieve common goals and objectivesAct as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externallyParticipate in knowledge transfer within the team and other business units, including participation in cross-functional groups or committees (e.g., Data Councils)

Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as requiredManages a small team of professionals providing general research, evaluation, operational and/or specialized business reporting and/or analytical support to the broader business leadership team that are assigned to projects ranging in size with low to medium complexity and riskProvides coaching, mentorship and guidance to team within area of expertiseCoordinates and prioritizes multiple initiatives and manages team resource allocationEstablishes effective relationships with different Stakeholders, Business Sponsors, Executives and LOBFocus on short to medium -term issues (e.g. monthly-quarterly)Contributes to the overall discipline and strategy for the respective areasSound knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own function / businessGenerally reports to a Senior Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Seven or more years of relevant experienceSkilled in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniquesHigh proficiency in SQL queries is a mustStrong ownership mentality and can-do attitudeStrong writing, presentation, and communication skills accompanied by strong business acumen with ability to engage senior audiencesAbility to work successfully as a member of a team and independentlyStrong analytical skills with ability to analyze, research, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlinesPeople Manager experience
