About the Role

We are seeking a capable and experienced Team Leader to oversee our sales of endpoint devices for HP and Microsoft Surface. This role combines the leadership of a sales team with direct management of key partner accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding team operations, ensuring consistent performance, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

Manage the overall sales performance of the HP and MS Surface business, including revenue, margin, and pipeline development.Lead, support, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment.Provide hands-on support across key accounts, ensuring customer needs are met and opportunities are maximised.Maintain and grow strategic relationships with vendors to support joint business planning and execution.Oversee forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking to ensure business objectives are met and risks are identified early.Implement structured sales processes and cadence to drive consistency and visibility across the team.Collaborate with internal departments to align on go-to-market strategies and execution.Support change management initiatives and help the team adapt to evolving business priorities and market conditions.Represent the HP and MS Surface sales business in internal leadership forums and contribute to broader business planning.Direct account management of strategic partners.

 

Role Requirements

Proven experience in leading sales teams and managing individual customer accounts in the end-user computing and printing space.Strong understanding of sales cycles for devices such as notebooks, desktops, printers and peripherals.Familiarity with HP and Microsoft business models, vendor engagement processes, and partner programs.Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Demonstrated capability in coaching and developing team members to achieve performance goals.Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across functions and levels.Experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and sales reporting tools (e.g., CRM platforms).Commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities within existing and new accounts.Comfortable working both strategically and tactically to support business outcomes.
