This position is responsible for managing and monitoring the workflow and productivity of banking and cash related tasks associated with the purchase and sale of a vehicle including cash application and systematic asset management (deletions).
What you will do:
Manage all financial related tasks associated with the disposal of a vehicle through various types of transactionsCommunicate and maintain excellent relationships with dealers, financial institutions, and auction housesManage floorplan lines of creditManage the process of vehicle releases in Avis Direct & Share Point sitesApprove refund payments and review and approve ACH batch payments in JP MorganManage the update of internal systems with information on trade in vehicles to be accounted for as an assetWork with internal teams to reduce exceptions that prevent systematic vehicle disposalsManage and ensure payments to vendors such as tag agencies used to process deals are processed timelyKeep track of invoices received and communicate with vendors when invoices are not received.Pay county taxes on time monthlyManage the processing of refunds for product cancellations such as GAP cancellationsHandle other financial and banking related tasks that arise that are not part of the daily and normal processMust resolve escalated, urgent, and time-sensitive mattersResponsible for providing reporting to senior leadership on a regular basis and as requestedConsistently review processes for efficiencies and process improvement opportunitiesMaintain effective relationships with internal and external customersOther duties as needed to meet business and customer needsManage team members in the Fleet Services department that perform cash and banking job functionsCoach and develop team members on a consistent basis. Set goals for team and ensure the team has the necessary resources to perform their jobsBe involved in career development and capacity planningWrite performance reviews and be involved in annual merit conversationsManage all aspects of time and attendance including PTO, scheduling requests, and adherence to the attendance policyLead and direct the activities and training of any assigned team membersManage workflow and coordinate training of new hires. Responsible for onboarding incoming team membersWhat we are looking for:
High school diploma/GED requiredAssociate or bachelor’s degree preferredExcellent PC skills (MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook) some macro knowledge preferred3-5 years data entry experience, established customer service skills preferredMinimum 2 years banking, account reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable experienceSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsExceptional problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and decision making skillsMaintain professional and courteous relationship with internal and external customers and expand business contactsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented work environmentExcellent record keeping skillsAbility to learn internal systems and databases quickly and manage company documents appropriatelyBring transparency and visibility to outstanding issues for resolutionAdvanced leadership and team management skillsAbility to maintain a consistent teamwork mentalitySkilled usage of business machines - PC, printer, scanner, phone, fax, copier, etc.Background check and fingerprinting may be required for DMV online processing/supervisionPerks you’ll get:
