The first shift Team Leader (Elements) is responsible for building assemblies and subassemblies (including specialty assemblies) and leading co-workers while partnering with the Production Supervisor to ensure Elements meets daily production and quality goals.

This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Elements Value Stream, reports to the Production Supervisor, and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL.  The work schedule is Monday thru Thursday, 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and overtime is routine.

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Set-up and operate equipment to produce complicated components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to blueprint and work instruction specifications using precision measuring equipment per SOPs, schematics, blueprints, engineering orders, and job sheets.

Set-up the work area for success, daily. Ensure that co-workers are trained in the various processes and procedures. Delegate tasks to associates as needed. Troubleshoot and problem-solving complex issues. Respond to inquiries or complaints from peers, managers, or regulatory agencies.

Perform Kamishibai daily. Communicate ideas, problems, and concerns to management. Perform basic maintenance for the equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.

The essential requirements of the job include:

High school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) and five (5) years of manufacturing experience.

Must be able to work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals and be able to mix them.

Knowledge and usage of basic shop math.  Computer literacy in MS Office (i.e.  Excel, Data Entry). Ability to read inventory and material planning screens. Must work overtime as required.

 Physical Requirements

In this role you will stand for 10 hours each day with frequent bending, lifting, and twisting, as well as good hand and eye dexterity.
