As group leader for this layer, your role in controlling cost, performance, and application characteristics will have a significant impact on product margin and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the North America (NA) OEM Technical Manager, this regional role provides an opportunity to make a significant difference to the success of the Coatings business. In this role, you will be responsible for directly managing the assigned technical team based in Southfield, Michigan.You will be required to provide technical direction for the development of new automotive coatings and assign and prioritize work within the team. You will be responsible for ensuring that project timelines are developed and communicated to all key stakeholders. The individual will also serve as the primary technical contact with the Regional Key Account and Product Management teams and will work collaboratively to prioritize the technical work for the team. The incumbent will be responsible for the training and development of their team and ensure that the proper safety practices are followed.
