We are recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Stannah Stairlift manufacturing facility in Andover, Pioneer Road
As a Manufacturing Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring workload priorities are understood and communicated effectively to the team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will coordinate daily output and team priorities.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday: 07:00hrs - 16:45hrs
You will need to be able to manage a team and have proven management experience , building a multi skilled workforce and supporting individual development.
Responsibilities:
Ensure workload priorities are understood and communicated effectively to the team through start of shift briefs.Ensure output complies to the sales order requirements.Keep Shift Leader informed of progress of agreed daily targets.Identify root cause of unplanned downtime and work with the Shift Leader to facilitate a permanent solution.Identify skills gaps within the team and work with the Shift Leader to facilitate a strong multi-skilled work-force.Train as per required, following the training plan.Deliver the objectives as agreed with the Shift Leader; develop a team culture of ownership and empowerment.Assist the Shift Leader in ensuring all required data is collated within the required timeframe.Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.Take responsibility for the existing processesCompany Information:
