An exciting opportunity has emerged within our North Northamptonshire service for a Criminal Justice Team Leader to join our vibrant team, committed to supporting individuals with drug and/or alcohol issues involved in the criminal justice system.

 

Location: North Northamptonshire covering Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby and the wider communities. 

Hours Full Time: 37.5 hours per week.

Full Time Salary Range: £35,220.59 - £37,184.91 , Dependent on experience, paid Pro Rata for part time hours

Contract Type: Permanent 

 

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will provide guidance, support, and direction to a team of dedicated recovery workers.Your role involves operational line management of your team, including supervision, appraisal, performance, and sickness management.Empowering your staff to instill hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities in service users, enabling them to realise their full potential, is a crucial aspect of your role.You'll collaborate with various Criminal Justice Agencies, such as police, probation, court staff, and liaison and diversion partners, to develop pathways and mutual ways of working for optimal outcomes.Building strong relationships with local prisons to ensure seamless transitions for service users upon release is another key component of your role.

 

To excel in this role:

We seek an individual with substantial experience in the substance misuse or criminal justice sector.You should possess knowledge and experience in developing and leading health and social care services, delivering services that demonstrate high performance and quality standards.Significant experience in leading teams working with families under social care intervention is advantageous.Familiarity with current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice is essential.You should have the ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).

What We Will Give to You:

25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. Additionally, you'll receive one extra day of annual leave for each year of service during your first five years, therefore you will enjoy 30 days of leave after five years with us.
