Shift patterns: Friday-Sunday. Night shift (22:00-10:00) - 12 hour shifts

\nWHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
\nAs part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
\n\nLead day-to-day performance, including achievement of agreed customer KPIs and other internal KPIs (eg. safety, operational, employee related etc.)\nParticipate and conduct Gemba Walks to identify areas for improvement\nTo directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area\nTo supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence\nTo track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level\nParticipate in customer, regulatory and internal operational audits as required and work with the team to implement the agreed action plan\nReport and investigate incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non compliance to safety regulations and procedures\nParticipates in regular operation reviews and conducts regular colleague briefings via the use of Performance Dialogue boards and regular briefings\n\nWHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
\nWe'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience;
\n\nPrevious experience as a Team Leader or similar within an operational environment\nCounter Balance forklift license is essential \nProject management experience would be desirable, due to project management responsibilities\nComprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices\nPrevious experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders\nComputer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages\nExcellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports\n\nWHY CHOOSE US?
