**Work Schedule** Second Shift (Afternoons) **Environmental Conditions** Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Warehouse, Working at heights **Job Description** Lead our transportation team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Loughborough, ensuring seamless delivery to customers. **Key Responsibilities** + Coordinate activities involved in the transportation of goods and services using our commercial fleet. + Ensure high levels of operational standards, efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. + Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that our customers' needs are met with the highest quality. + Act as a crucial point of contact and report directly to the Transportation Manager. + Successfully implement strategies to improve transportation processes and outcomes. **Requirements** + Must hold a HGV licence Min Class 2 + Proven experience in a transportation or shipping role. + Strong organizational and coordination skills. + Ability to strictly adhere to safety and regulatory standards. + Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. + A track record of determining and implementing effective transportation strategies.
