Team Leader, Patient Access

The Team Leader of Patient Access is responsible for the daily operation of all admitting functions. Works with Patient Access Director and Supervisor in identifying opportunities for improvement in customer satisfaction and quality performance.
*_Essential Functions:_*
* Responsible for the leading the daily operations in admitting and serves as the lead resource for the admitting clerks.
* Continually educates all registration staff on any changes pertinent to their roles.
* Serves as a mentor when training new employees.
* Supports management with work schedules for admitting.
* Maintains QA statistics for admitting
* Works closely with nursing/ancillary departments maintaining teamwork.
* Registers all patient types/assists other registrars with issues/questions.
* Stocks and orders supplies according to budget guidelines and departmental needs.
*_Education:_*High School Diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
*_Experience:_*Must have Patient Access experience, minimum one (1) years supervisory experience.
