Position OverviewSupervises the daily activities of In-patient, Out-patient, or Laboratory office. As applicable, functions as a Phlebotomist or Clerk performing services at WMH, BGH or at Off-Site locations. Performs tasks such as Patient Test Order Entry, Inpatient /Outpatient Phlebotomy, Home Draws, Skilled Nursing Facility venipunctures and other outreach locations. Responds to and resolves issues involving workload, personnel, equipment, conflicts, patient and provider service complaints. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Lab Services, UHS Binghamton General Hospital Primary Work Shift: Day Rotational Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: $21.31 - $30.90 per hour, depending on experience ----- Education/Experience Minimum Required: + 3-5 years phlebotomy experience AND Three (3) months clinical patient registration, test order entry OR one (1) years' demonstrated experience within United Health Services' laboratories. + High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: + Associates Degree in Applied Science/health-related field; + Three (3) years phlebotomy generalist experience; + One (1) year in team leader, section leader or supervisory role.
