Job Title: Team Lead (Production Assembly)
Job Description

We are seeking a Team Lead for our Production Assembly team, specializing in the manufacturing of metal automotive components. This role involves leading a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, focusing on the design, development, and production of vehicle parts, including door, bumper, and body components.

ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the production assembly team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.Coordinate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.Ensure proper assembly of automotive components using mechanical aptitude and supervision skills.Maintain safety protocols and standards within the production area.Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed for the assembly process.Essential SkillsProven experience in supervision or team leadership roles, preferably with 2+ years.Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with assembly processes.Experience within the automotive industry and manufacturing environments.Ability to operate forklifts and other necessary equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of press hardening technology and familiarity with robotic and laser cutting machinery is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work within a 710,000 sq foot facility, operating from 2nd shift hours of 2PM-10:15PM with a competitive hourly wage plus shift premium. Experience a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supplying automotive OEMs with door frames. Prepare for a hotter and noisier environment during summer months, equipped with new robots and laser cutting machinery.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mason, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45344.00 - $45344.00/yr.
