The Warehouse Lead is responsible for coaching and mentoring associates during daily operations within the automated distribution center. This role requires strong functional knowledge, problem-solving skills, and effective communication. The ideal candidate has experience in an automated warehouse environment, particularly with Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS).
This position supports our Weekend Shift operations, Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:30pm. It will be posted for internal candidates for 10 days, 6/9/2025 - 6/19/2025.
What You'll DoFunctional Knowledge:
Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards. Understand and operate automated material handling systems, including conveyors, sorters, and robotics. Familiarity with inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
Complexity:
Manage complex workflows involving multiple automated systems. Coordinate inventory movements efficiently to meet production targets. Troubleshoot system issues and escalate as needed.
Problem Solving:
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges. Analyze data to optimize warehouse performance.
Interpersonal/Communication Skills:
Manage a team of warehouse associates, providing clear instructions and guidance. Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and other departments Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
Autonomy:
Independently manage daily tasks, prioritize workload, and make decisions. Adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Achieve performance targets individually and within your team. Adhere to safety protocols and meet attendance expectations. Maintain a positive and "can do" attitude. What You'll Bring to the Table High school diploma or equivalent experience (required). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain management, logistics, or related field (preferred). Demonstrated ability in a warehouse or distribution center, with at least 1 year in a role that required coaching and/or mentoring other associates Familiarity with automated warehouse systems, including WMS (e.g., Manhattan). Ability to operate and troubleshoot automated material handling equipment. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, etc.). Excellent interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team. Effective communication (both written and verbal) to convey instructions clearly. Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Understanding of inventory control practices. Adherence to company policies and procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and operational needs.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand, walk, kneel, lift. etc for extended periods. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment that does not have climate control.
