Purpose of Job Manages overall execution of capital project portfolio Oversee and manage project team that perform the planning, execution, and completion of small capital projects from scope development to construction. Develop and retain a team of competent and effective Project Managers Provide execution of projects to meet all PSM and SHE requirements while ensuring competitive, reliable and efficient delivery Develop and maintain key processes to deliver high performance with project management Ensure business and operational goals and objectives met based on Projects deliver Updating of operating procedures which are developed by Project Management department Responsible for performance reviews and evaluations with the project management team Key Accountabilities Project Engineering and Management Ensure the safe and environmentally compliant delivery of projects within the Sasol Americas Ensure cost and schedule effective delivery of all projects, with quality assurance to meet safety and reliability requirements Maintain trust and relationships with project stakeholders Allocate project resources effectively Accountable for compliance to capital project governance processes and the governance/compliance with engineering and construction standards, as required Develops talent to serve Technical Services function as well as the talent pipeline for other functions within Sasol, where applicable Formal Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering required Working Experience 10+ years practical engineering experience 5+ years managerial experience Required Personal and Professional Skills Required Personal and Professional Skills Strong interpersonal and personal management skills Strong and positive people leadership Customer centric- internal and external Proactively drives competitive edge in a value based and high integrity manner Collaborative mindset, works well with others
