**Job Title: Team Lead**
**Job Description**
Serve as the warehouse point of contact for all inbound and outbound communication channels between customers, carriers, and vendors. Train new Material Handlers and support the warehouse leadership team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Generate ideas for process and department improvement following the 5S methodology.
+ Perform functions in team environments and individually.
+ Provide assistance to co-workers in tasks and training.
+ Lead team development by sharing knowledge and experiences.
+ Complete all relevant training provided.
+ Maintain a safe and clean work area, inspecting 5S Charts.
+ Promote team concept and train/coach new employees.
+ Adhere to all safety procedures.
+ Understand and adhere to relevant quality standards and the quality management system.
+ Actively participate in organized improvement concepts and Kaizens.
+ Demonstrate flexibility with work hours and days in a 24/7 operation, including holidays.
+ Perform and demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and workload.
+ Communicate work items effectively with peers, management, carriers, and vendors.
+ Be self-motivated and demonstrate leadership with a professional attitude.
+ Be proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word, and have the ability to learn SAP.
+ Possess SAP knowledge related to inbound operations, material storage, and bay movements.
+ Understand QAKE and assist in maintaining Inbound QAKE documents.
+ Learn Hot Gas procedures and provide assistance when necessary.
+ Work with inventory control, data entry, shipping and receiving, SAP, cycle counts, and inventory management.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School diploma or GED
+ Experience with inbound operations
+ Forklift License
+ Drexel License
+ Ability to flex schedule and work overtime with short notice
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and company handbook
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
+ Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Proficiency in communication and attention to detail
+ Certification on equipment
+ Experience with RF scanner

**Work Environment**
Work on the 1st Shift from 7am to 3pm with a paid lunch break; however, leaving the site during lunch is not allowed. The facility is non-climate controlled, requiring the ability to stand for the duration of the shift. The receiving dock can be cold in winter and hot in summer.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.95 - $19.95/hr.
